    When you pull up to a stop sign you must fire a gun out the window to warn horse carriages that you are coming.
    Automobiles are not to pass horse drawn carriages on the street.
    If a horse drawn carriage is trying to pass a car and the horse becomes uneasy, the owner of the car is required to pull over and if necessary, cover the car.
    When approaching a four way or blind intersection in a non-horse driven vehicle you must stop 100 ft from the intersection and discharge a firearm into the air to warn horse traffic.
    Illegal for a woman to drive a car unless there is a man either running or walking in front of it waving a red flag to warn approaching motorists and pedestrians.

That was in the first decade in the 1900′s, when there was, maybe, 10 cars in the intyre country :) And by the way, is was only in the cities, but still… :D
