Very much NOT a stupid law, as it’s stopped an ages long abuse and disfiguration of young girls.

But it’s still legal to break legbones and placing them on a distance to get longer legs.

This is definitely NOT a stupid law. I live in china right now, and I’ve seen what happens when they bind their feet up like that. Their feet are so small, because they bound it at age 2 – 3. Because their feet are bound, they can’t walk, so they can’t escape from their husbands that are abusive to them. They have to constantly be carried around, so I think that this is a very good law.
