Chicken must be eaten with the hands.

Gainesville is the Poultry Capital of the World. The local police department played a joke on some visiting Atlanta DJ’s several years ago, and they actually created an ordinance to go with it.

The law actually states that fried chicken cannot be eaten with a fork. Though the law is not enforced, most of us from the area still agree with the law and think it should be. Fried chicken is sacred and should be given the respect, of proper handling during consumption. Actually that last sentence was a joke; but seriously you uppity yankees need to stop being such germophopes and give your immune system a decent battle every now and again.
