the correct spelling of colonised would help your argument… and one of these laws states that it is illegal to dress up as Batman or Robin… I doubt Batman and Robin existed when the first fleet arrived in Australia…

There are different ‘life sentences’ that can be handed down. The standard one these days is 25 years, although in more severe cases you can be sentenced “for the rest of your mortal life” which is indefinite.
